NOVEMBER 2017 NEWS
15th NOVEMBER - PVG Disclosure Scotland Introducing Digital Applications
Disclosure Scotland has announced that it will be introducing Digital Applications throughout 2018. One of the reasons behind this decision is that organisations in Scotland would like to interact with PVG Disclosure Scotland in a digital way. Also, the public expects to access services quickly and conveniently at times and in ways to suit them.
Although Basic Disclosures are already available online, eventually, all other applications will be available. There will be some testing completed by Disclosure Scotland, before being rolled out for public use. In the meantime, please continue to use the normal process for submitting applications.
Once up and running, Disclosure Scotland will continue to accept paper applications. However, the online application will provide a faster and more efficient method for applying for certificates. Although the application will be done online, for the foreseeable future, paper certificates will continue to be printed and posted.
