Healthcare Plus Recruitment would like to thank all our carers, clients, friends, neighbours for their very kind donations in aid of Red Nose Day 2017
We have managed to raise and will be donating the grand total of £127.84 for this terrific and very worthwhile cause, in support of those living in both the UK and Africa
We have had a fabulous day and have received so much support from the general public, tooting their horns, giving us the thumbs up, smiling and waving at us as we went along our route from Inverclyde to Irvine - we haven't stopped laughing!! It's been totally brilliant - thank you very much everyone for all your generosity and kindness. A special thank you to the gentleman and his friend for videoing both Stephanie and myself along the dual-carriageway and probably uploading this to his Facebook page - you know who you are!

Healthcare Plus linking with leading UK Charity Independent Age
Independent Age is a leading UK Charity, set up over 150 years ago, and is dedicated to assisting the most vulnerable citizens in society, with clear, free and impartial advice on the issues that matter for the elderly population; care and support, choosing the right care home, care at home services, money and benefits, and health and mobility. Other services for the elderly include a befriending service; volunteers can ring an elderly person on a weekly basis or visit them in person. Independent Age also assist with issues such as inequalities and loneliness and staying connected within local communities.
The charity also raises issues for elderly people locally and responds in a variety of different ways; organising campaigns on behalf of the elderly, research projects and influencing public debates on older people's issues and having a voice in Parliament.
Healthcare Plus Recruitment are proud to be working in association and supporting this charity and will be running several events throughout the year in order to try and assist with fund-raising on a local level to support the elderly population within our region

SSSC News Update
Are you employed in more than one role? If you are employed in more than one social service role on two different parts of the SSSC register, you now need to register both roles with the SSSC.
If you have worked in two roles, the SSSC has previously advised you that you would need to register for the "higher" role that you work in, however, this has highlighted issues for some SSSC members as if you ended your employment for the "higher" role, you would no longer be registered for your other role.
To prevent this, the SSSC are now asking you to ensure that you are registered on each part of the register that relates to each of the roles that you work in.
By ensuring that you are registered on each part of the register, this ensures that you will still be able to work in your other role(s), as you will still be registered for each role and will enable you to continue working in your other role(s) as normal.
